Hotel Description
Look, I’ll be honest – when you first see this place on Rue Gambetta, you might walk right past it. It doesn’t scream “luxury hotel” from the street, but that’s actually part of its charm. This duplex apartment sits right in the heart of Saint-Tropez’s village center, and once you climb those stairs and see the view from the upper level… well, that’s when you get it.
The rooftop vista is genuinely spectacular – you’re looking out over those classic terracotta tiles that make every Saint-Tropez Instagram shot, but from up here it feels more authentic somehow. You know what I mean? Like you’re seeing the real village, not just the tourist version down by the port. The morning light hits those rooftops just right, and honestly, I found myself having coffee up there way too early just to watch the town wake up. The duplex layout works really well too – downstairs feels cozy for evenings, upstairs is where you want to spend your mornings and late afternoons. It’s bright (they weren’t kidding about the “lumineux” part) without being overwhelming.
What really sold me on this place is the location – Rue Gambetta puts you in the middle of everything without the chaos of being right on the harbor. You can walk to Place des Lices in about three minutes (perfect for the Tuesday and Saturday markets), and the famous port area is maybe a seven-minute stroll. But here’s the thing locals know: you’re also close enough to those little side streets where you’ll find the bakeries and wine shops that aren’t tourist traps. The noise level is pretty reasonable too – sure, you’ll hear some street activity, but it’s not like staying right above a nightclub. I mean, it’s still Saint-Tropez in summer, so don’t expect monastery-level quiet, but it’s manageable. Parking is… well, it’s Saint-Tropez, so good luck with that anywhere. But there are a couple of public lots within walking distance, and honestly, once you’re settled in here, you won’t want to drive around the village anyway. The whole setup feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a typical hotel experience – which might not be for everyone, but if you want to feel like you actually live in Saint-Tropez for a few days rather than just visiting it, this works perfectly.
Saint-Tropez hotels range from charming boutique properties in the historic Old Port to elegant beachfront resorts and modern luxury accommodations along Pampelonne Beach.

the location of the apartment in St Tropez is absolutely spectacular right in the middle between Place des Lices and the yacht harbor; it was also extremely clean and had a nice smell when entering it; very light colors and nice floor; air condition in living room and bedroom working very smoothly
