The room I stayed in was compact but thoughtfully designed — you know how French properties can be tiny, but this one actually makes good use of the space. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, and there’s decent storage for a week’s worth of clothes, which is more than you can say for a lot of places in Saint-Tropez. The bathroom was modern enough (important when you’re dealing with old buildings), and the air conditioning worked well during those sweltering July afternoons. There’s no on-site restaurant, but honestly, you don’t need one when you’re this close to some of the best bistros in town. The little boulangerie around the corner does incredible croissants for breakfast, and there’s a proper Provençal market just steps away where you can grab fresh fruit and local cheese. The staff is genuinely helpful — they gave me great recommendations for beaches that aren’t completely overrun (head to Plage de la Bouillabaisse if you want my advice), and they sorted out parking for my rental car, which is no small feat in this town.
