Hotel Description
You know what caught me off guard about ComeCasa’s two-bedroom place on Rue du Puits? The fact that you’re literally a three-minute walk from Saint-Tropez’s old harbor, but somehow you don’t hear the usual tourist chaos that comes with being that close to the action. I mean, Saint-Tropez in summer is… well, it’s a lot. But this little street – honestly, most visitors probably walk right past it without even noticing – sits just far enough back that you get the best of both worlds.
The house itself has this relaxed, actually-lived-in vibe that’s refreshing when you’re used to those sterile vacation rentals that feel like showrooms. Both bedrooms are decent-sized (the master has this great morning light that hits around 8 AM), and there’s enough space in the main area that you’re not tripping over each other if you’re traveling with friends or family. What I really appreciated was the kitchen – it’s properly equipped, not just tourist-level basics. You can actually cook here if you want to skip the €40 harbor restaurants for a night or two. The whole place feels more like staying at someone’s well-appointed pied-à-terre than a typical rental.
Here’s the thing about the location that the photos don’t tell you – you’re close enough to walk to Sénéquier for morning coffee (avoid the afternoon rush unless you enjoy crowds), but you can also easily slip away from the port scene when it gets overwhelming. Place des Lices market on Tuesdays and Saturdays? Five-minute walk. That little bakery on Rue Gambetta that locals actually use? Even closer. Parking is… well, it’s Saint-Tropez, so don’t expect miracles, but there are spots along the street if you’re persistent, and the public lot near Place des Lices isn’t terrible if you don’t mind a short walk back. The check-in was straightforward – none of that awkward key-pickup-at-a-random-office situation you sometimes get with rentals. Honestly, for a 4-star place with a 9 rating, it delivers exactly what you’d hope for without any unpleasant surprises. It’s the kind of spot where you can settle in for a few days and actually feel like you’re experiencing Saint-Tropez rather than just checking it off a list.
