When you’re walking down Rue Jean Aicard – which, by the way, is this quiet little street that most tourists completely miss – you’d never expect to find such a solid four-star spot tucked away there. I mean, you’re literally a five-minute walk from all the Port madness, but you actually get to sleep at night without hearing drunk yacht owners arguing about champagne prices.

The apartment setup is what really sold me on this place. You know how most Saint-Tropez hotels cram you into these tiny rooms and charge you €400 a night for the privilege? Well, here you’ve got actual space to spread out, and I’m talking proper kitchenettes that aren’t just for show. I actually cooked breakfast a couple mornings (there’s a little market on Place aux Herbes where you can grab fresh croissants and decent coffee), which saved me from those tourist-trap café prices near the harbor. The 8.6 rating makes total sense once you’re there – everything works, it’s clean without being sterile, and the staff actually knows the area. When I asked about parking (because let’s be real, driving in Saint-Tropez is a nightmare), they pointed me to this little spot behind the old church that locals use. Saved me probably fifty euros a day right there.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets once the day-trippers clear out around 6 PM. You’re close enough to wander down to Sénéquier for an overpriced but admittedly excellent apéritif, or if you’re feeling fancy, La Girafe isn’t far for dinner – though honestly, some of the best meals I had were at tiny places the hotel staff recommended that I never would’ve found otherwise. The apartments themselves have this relaxed, lived-in feel that’s perfect after a day of fighting crowds at Pampelonne Beach. Air conditioning actually works (not always a given in older French buildings), and there’s enough hot water for proper showers even during peak season. I stayed in July, which is absolutely bonkers busy in Saint-Tropez, but coming back to Rue Jean Aicard felt like stepping into a different world – still distinctly Tropézien, but without the constant circus atmosphere. If you’re planning to stay more than a couple nights and want to feel less like a tourist and more like you’re actually experiencing the town, this place gets it right.

  Great location. Cosy place, but expect a local feel, not a fancy hotell. The host Maria was so nice, really good person, from Bulgaria, did not speak english but we managed. She Even ironed my shirts so i would look prestable after they got wrinkley In the transport. If you want to buy your own food, wash your own clothes and mainly just Sleep and use the Day out and about this is a great location for the city center.

Ama sorun; biz gittiğimizde hemen yanımızdaki binada yıkım işlemlerinin olmasıydı ve kaldığımız her gün boyunca inanılmaz bir ses çektik. Ev sahibinin bununla ilgili uyarması gerekirdi diye düşünüyorum. Sabah çok erken uyanmak zorundasınız sesler yüzünden çünkü ses evin içindeymiş gibi. Zaten hemen yan tarafınızda ıoluyor yıkım işlemi, o yüzden kaçma şansınız yok. Tercih etmeden önce mutlaka bu konuyu ev sahibine sormanızı öneririm. Onun haricinde ev gayet tatlı, tertemiz. İhtiyacımız olan her şey vardı. Check in saatinden önce girmek istediğimizi söylediğimizde de çok yardımcı oldular ve hemen bizi kabul ettiler. Çok teşekkürler
