What I really appreciated was how the location strikes this perfect balance. You’re about a ten-minute drive from the famous port where all the superyachts dock, but you actually get to sleep at night without hearing party music until dawn. The parking situation alone makes this place worth considering — I mean, anyone who’s tried to find a spot in Saint-Tropez during summer knows what a nightmare that can be. Having your own secure space right on-site? That’s gold. Plus, couples seem to absolutely love this spot, and I can see why — it’s intimate without feeling isolated.

The Property & Pool

The swimming pool is honestly the heart of this place. It’s not massive, but it doesn’t need to be — it’s perfectly sized for the villa and has this lovely Mediterranean feel with the surrounding gardens. I spent most of my mornings there with coffee, watching the light change as the sun came up over the hills. The whole property has maybe twenty rooms total, so it never feels crowded. You’ll often have the pool area pretty much to yourself, especially if you’re an early riser like me.

My room was larger than I expected, with French doors that opened onto a small terrace overlooking the gardens. The décor walks that fine line between traditional Provençal style and modern comfort — think soft linens, natural wood, and just enough local touches without going overboard. The air conditioning actually works well (not always a given in older French buildings), and the bathroom was recently updated. Nothing groundbreaking, but everything you need after a long day exploring the coast or shopping in the village.

Look, Villa Trémolière isn’t trying to be the fanciest place in Saint-Tropez — and that’s exactly why it works so well. The staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay comfortable rather than just impressive. You get that authentic French hospitality without the stuffiness that can come with some of the more expensive hotels in the area. For couples especially, there’s something really appealing about having this peaceful base where you can recharge between adventures. The fact that you can easily drive into town for dinner but come back to actual tranquility? That’s pretty much the perfect Saint-Tropez experience, if you ask me.
