You’re basically a two-minute stroll from the legendary port where all those mega-yachts dock, and the famous Place des Lices is practically around the corner.

Location That Actually Matters

Here’s what I love about staying at St Tropez T2 central — you can ditch the car completely. The old town’s cobblestone streets, those impossibly chic boutiques along rue Gambetta, and the morning market at Place des Lices are all within easy walking distance. When couples rate the location a perfect 10 (which they consistently do), they’re not exaggerating. You know how Saint-Tropez can get absolutely crazy with traffic during summer? Well, you’ll be watching it all from your window while sipping coffee, because you’re already exactly where you want to be.

The Space Itself

The T2 setup works brilliantly for couples or even small families. It’s not huge — this is Saint-Tropez after all, where space comes at a premium — but everything feels thoughtfully arranged. The kitchen actually functions (I’ve stayed in plenty of French vacation rentals where you can barely boil water), and there’s enough room to spread out after a long day of beach-hopping or wandering through the village. The windows let in that gorgeous Mediterranean light, and honestly, the view of the surrounding rooftops gives you a real sense of being part of this historic fishing village turned glamour capital.

Living Like a Local

What really sets this place apart is how it drops you into the daily rhythm of Saint-Tropez. Your morning coffee run takes you past the same boulangerie where locals grab their daily bread, and you’ll start recognizing the shopkeepers who’ve been here for decades. The evening aperitif culture becomes part of your routine when you’re this central — you can easily pop out for drinks at one of the port-side cafés, then wander back through those narrow streets that have barely changed since Brigitte Bardot put this place on the map in the 1950s.

  The location was very central and about a 1-2 minute walk from the town centre. It was also nice to be able to cook – food in St Tropez was excellent, but travelling for a long time it's nice to be able to make a few meals here and there when we want to. Apartment was nice and has a pleasant view over the town. I'd say that overall it looks a little better than the photos.
