Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Résidence les Lisières, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. The name sounds pretty fancy, but it’s actually this refreshingly low-key residential complex that sits just far enough from Saint-Tropez’s madness to let you breathe, while still being close enough that you can walk to all the action. And I mean actually walk – not that “walking distance” nonsense where you need hiking boots and a water bottle.

The sea view from this place is what really got me though. You know how sometimes “sea view” means you can glimpse a sliver of blue if you crane your neck out the bathroom window? Not here. From the terrace, you get this proper panoramic sweep of the Mediterranean that honestly makes you want to just sit there with your morning coffee and forget whatever urgent emails are piling up. The house itself has that typical Provençal charm – those terracotta roof tiles and cream-colored walls that photograph beautifully but more importantly, actually keep the place cool during those brutal July afternoons. Speaking of which, if you’re coming in summer, definitely spring for a place with good shutters. Trust me on this one.

What I really appreciated was how the location strikes this perfect balance. You’re tucked away in Les Lisières (which literally means “the edges” – fitting, right?), so you don’t have drunk tourists stumbling past your window at 3 AM like you would closer to the port. But when you do want to dive into the Saint-Tropez scene – maybe grab lunch at Sénéquier or people-watch at Place des Lices – it’s genuinely a pleasant 10-minute stroll. The walk takes you through some quieter residential streets where you’ll see actual locals going about their business, which I found way more charming than the polished tourist corridors. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle during peak season (aren’t you glad you’re walking?), and honestly, the whole area gets pretty sleepy by October, but that might be exactly what you’re after. The 8.4 rating feels about right – it’s solidly good without being flashy, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need when you want to experience Saint-Tropez without feeling like you’re staying inside a postcard.

  It's a very nice small house with a charming backyard. The highlight is an absolutely unparalleled magnificent view from the main bedroom's window / balcony. The backyard/terrace is also perfect with fine sunbathing and dining facilities, surrounded by dense green vegetation for the ideal privacy.
  The hosts took care of everything, to a much higher level, than most other places, at least in France, and were very helpful.
  It's a very quiet and green neighborhood very close to the sea and the city.
  From the architectural point of view, it's amazing how they managed to fit all the necessary facilities in such a small space. So, if your personal dimensions are not too large, it's quite comfortable for everything. Especially for pairs.
  The place has a clear personal touch. Would book it again.

  Ruhige Lage.Sehr schöne geschmackvolle Ausstattung auf relativ kleinem Raum.Guter Zustand.Schöner kleiner Garten. Innenstadt fußläufig erreichbar aber sportlich, da hin und zurück ca.4km.

  Die Unterkunft liegt sehr nah an St Tropez. Der Ausblick aus dem Schlafzimmer ist wunderbar. Der Pool und die Tennisanlage sind gepflegt. Es ist alles dort was man braucht. Der Vermieter ist super hilfsbereit und reagiert schnell, wenn man etwas braucht.
