Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the address “Chemin des Amoureux” (which literally means “Path of Lovers”), I rolled my eyes a bit. But you know what? This little 40-square-meter studio actually lives up to that romantic street name, and I mean that in the best possible way.

The place sits just far enough from the main Saint-Tropez chaos that you won’t hear drunk tourists stumbling back from the port at 3 AM, but close enough that you can walk to Place des Lices in about ten minutes – honestly, perfect timing for grabbing morning coffee before the crowds hit. The studio itself is smart about its space; whoever designed it clearly understood that 40 square meters can feel cramped or cozy depending on how you work with it. They went with cozy. There’s this lovely little terrace that catches the afternoon light, and I actually found myself eating breakfast out there every morning instead of rushing off to explore. The kitchen’s compact but functional – I mean, you’re not going to host a dinner party, but you can definitely handle simple meals, which is great because eating out in Saint-Tropez every night will drain your wallet faster than you’d expect.

What really struck me was how quiet it gets in the evenings. You’re tucked away on this residential street where locals actually live, so there’s something authentic about hearing neighbors chatting in French while you’re sipping wine on your terrace. The walk into town takes you past some gorgeous old villas – the kind you see in those glossy French lifestyle magazines – and honestly, the stroll becomes part of the daily ritual. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak summer months (July and August are absolutely nuts), but there’s usually space if you’re not too picky about walking a block or two. The 8.9 rating makes sense once you’ve stayed here; it’s not luxury in the marble-bathroom sense, but it’s that kind of effortless French style that feels more genuine than some of the flashier places closer to the harbor. I’d definitely come back, especially in late spring or early fall when Saint-Tropez still has that magical light but without the shoulder-to-shoulder crowds.

  We spent a wonderful week at this studio in Saint-Tropez!
  The location is perfect – close to the beach, the port, and all the main attractions, yet quiet and peaceful. The studio was very clean and well-equipped (air conditioning, kitchenette, comfortable bed). Everything looked exactly like in the photos.
  
  A big plus was the very good private parking – a great convenience in Saint-Tropez. There is also a swimming pool available for guests – clean, well-maintained, and free to use without any issues. The host was very kind and helpful, with smooth and easy communication. We’ll definitely come back!

  The apartment was spacious with a nice garden view. The carpark in a secure area was nice to have. The location was perfect, with a short walk into the centre of Saint Tropez to all the wonderful shops & the restaurants along the port side.
  A supermarket was only a couple of minutes walk from the property.
  We loved the large swimming pool, a welcome relief in the 30deg afternoons.
