Hotel Description

You know what struck me first about Résidence Exclusive Resort? It’s actually tucked away on Avenue Foch, which honestly feels like a bit of a miracle in Saint-Tropez. I mean, you’re literally a five-minute walk from the old port where all the superyachts dock, but the street itself has this surprisingly residential vibe that keeps you from feeling like you’re drowning in tourist chaos. The building has that classic French Riviera thing going on – think crisp white facades with those blue shutters that actually look authentic, not like someone’s idea of what French shutters should look like.

The rooms are well… they’re solid four-star territory, nothing that’ll blow your mind but everything works properly (which, let’s be honest, isn’t always a given in some of these older coastal properties). What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – even in July when Saint-Tropez is absolutely mental with the party crowd. The walls are thick enough that you’re not hearing every conversation from the hallway, and since Avenue Foch doesn’t get the same foot traffic as the streets closer to Place des Lices, you can actually sleep without earplugs. The staff knows their stuff too – they’ll book restaurant reservations without making you feel like you’re asking for a kidney, and they have pretty good intel on which beaches aren’t completely overrun on any given day.

Here’s the thing about the location that really works: you’re close enough to walk to Sénéquier for your morning coffee (though honestly, it’s a tourist trap – there’s a much better café called Le Gorille that locals actually use, just behind the fish market), but you can also escape the madness pretty easily. The public parking on Rue Gambetta is about a seven-minute walk if you’re driving, which in Saint-Tropez terms is basically like having valet service. And if you want to hit Pampelonne Beach, you’re looking at maybe fifteen minutes by car, or you can catch one of those little shuttles that run constantly during summer. The whole setup just feels… practical, I guess? Like someone thought about what travelers actually need instead of just where looks impressive on Instagram. The 8.1 rating makes sense – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but it delivers on the basics really well, and in a place where you’ll probably spend most of your time exploring anyway, that matters more than having a marble bathroom the size of most people’s bedrooms.

Everything. Great modern apartment within wonderful grounds and a fabulous pool. Short walk to lovely lively restaurants and marina.

  • Catarina from Portugal (9/10)

The apartment was perfectly located right in the heart of the city, just a short walk from the Marina and countless restaurants. The modern, clean, and spacious interior made for a very comfortable stay for two.

However, what truly set this apart was the incredible concierge service. Charlotte was incredibly helpful and accommodating, assisting us with everything from beach club bookings to restaurant reservations. Her expertise and availability made our trip so much easier and enjoyable, especially as foreigners planning from afar.

I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Saint-Tropez and will definitely be staying here again on my next trip!

The location of the apartment is excellent, very close to Place de Lice, the old town and only a 10 minute walk to the Harbour. Very nice decor, very clean, great and large bathroom. Also perfect the large parking space in the house, worth a lot!! Pretty much anything you could wish for staying in St Tropez for a couple of days
