Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about this loft on Rue Joseph Quaranta? It’s tucked away just enough that you feel like you’ve discovered something the cruise ship crowds haven’t found yet, but honestly, you’re still right in the thick of things. I mean, you can practically roll out of bed and be at the old port in five minutes – which is exactly what I did most mornings to grab coffee before the superyacht crowd descended.
The space itself is what got me though. It’s one of those places where someone actually thought about how people live, not just how a hotel room should look. The loft has this great industrial-chic thing going on (exposed beams, that sort of thing), but it doesn’t feel cold or trying-too-hard like some places in Saint-Tropez can. There’s real character here – the kind of worn stone floors that have stories, and windows that frame the terracotta rooftops perfectly. The kitchen is properly equipped too, which matters because let’s be honest, eating out every meal in Saint-Tropez will bankrupt you faster than a night at the casino in Monaco. I actually enjoyed making morning coffee there, listening to the delivery trucks rumble down the narrow streets before the town woke up.
What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. During the day, sure, you’ll hear the usual sounds of people wandering the cobblestones below, maybe some scooters puttering past, but once evening settles in and everyone migrates toward the port or Place des Lices, it’s surprisingly peaceful. The owner clearly knows the area – they left these little notes about which boulangerie opens earliest (it’s the one on Rue Gambetta, if you’re wondering) and where to park without getting a ticket. Speaking of parking, there’s actually a spot included, which is basically like finding gold in this town during summer. I stayed in early October, so things were winding down from the crazy August rush, but I could tell this place would be a sanctuary even during peak season. The 8.6 rating makes sense – it’s not trying to be the Byblos or some flashy resort, but it delivers on what matters: location, comfort, and that feeling like you’re living in Saint-Tropez rather than just visiting it. Plus, you’re a two-minute walk from some seriously good Provençal restaurants that don’t have tourist menus in four languages.

Quite ok – Hondos from Greece – 7 August 2024 (7/10)
It was very big and comfortable. Their conditioning was excellent. The location was amazing.
What could be improved: The personnel did not speak English. They never change our towels or bed seats for five nights. There was no cleaning service and the bathrooms where inside the bedrooms which we did not like in one bedroom the bathtub was losing water on the floorExceptional – Edoardo from Italy – 5 September 2023 (10/10)
