The space itself is what got me though – 100 square meters is genuinely spacious for Saint-Tropez, where most places feel like luxury shoe boxes. The air conditioning actually works, which… you know what, that’s not always a given in these old French buildings, even the nice ones. I spent a week there in July, and while everyone else was melting in their charming-but-stuffy hotel rooms, I was actually comfortable. Place de la Garonne is a two-minute walk, which means you can pop into Sénéquier for coffee without it being this whole expedition, but you’re also close enough to Rue Gambetta that you can escape the tourist density when it gets overwhelming. And parking – God, parking in Saint-Tropez is usually a nightmare, but this location gives you actual options. There’s the port parking that locals know about, plus you’re not so deep in the pedestrian maze that you’re hauling luggage through crowds for twenty minutes. The 9.1 rating makes total sense when you factor in these practical details that only matter when you’re actually living somewhere for more than a night.     Great location, right opposite all the amazing yachts. You are right in the center of it all. Well equipped kitchen (although we did not use it much). Clean. High end design. Good quality mattress and bedding.
