You know what caught me off guard about Paradis Bleu? The name had me expecting some flashy beachfront resort, but it’s actually tucked away on this quiet residential street in the hills above Saint-Tropez proper. The address says Chemin de Sainte-Bonne Aventure, which honestly I’d never heard of before visiting – it’s one of those winding roads that branch off from the main routes into town, lined with Mediterranean pines and those typical Provençal stone walls. When I first pulled up (parking’s actually pretty straightforward here, unlike most places in Saint-Tropez), I thought I might’ve gotten the wrong place. It looks more like an elegant private villa than a hotel, which turned out to be exactly the point.

The whole setup feels deliberately intimate – I mean, we’re talking about a place that clearly prioritizes the kind of guest who values privacy over being in the thick of the port scene. The rooms have this understated luxury thing going on, with real attention to details like the quality of the linens and these gorgeous views that stretch toward the Mediterranean. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night; you’re close enough to walk down to Place des Lices or the old port (maybe fifteen minutes on foot, though it’s uphill on the way back), but far enough removed that you’re not dealing with the late-night party crowd or morning delivery trucks that wake you up in the more central hotels. The staff genuinely seems to know the area – not just the obvious tourist spots, but they pointed me toward this little morning market on Rue Georges Clemenceau that I never would’ve found otherwise.

Here’s the thing about staying up in this part of Saint-Tropez: you get the best of both worlds, but you need to be okay with a bit of walking or grabbing the occasional taxi when your feet give out. During peak season (July and August, obviously), it’s actually a blessing to have this peaceful retreat to come back to after dealing with the crowds down by the port. The whole place has earned that 9.4 rating honestly – it’s not trying to be everything to everyone, but what it does, it does really well. If you’re the type who wants to roll out of bed directly onto a beach or be stumbling distance from Nikki Beach, this probably isn’t your spot. But if you appreciate the idea of experiencing Saint-Tropez from a more sophisticated, less frantic perspective – somewhere you can actually relax and recharge between exploring the town’s galleries, markets, and yes, even the famous beaches – then this little haven makes perfect sense.

  Profesjonalna opieka gospodarza przez cały okres pobytu. Bardzo dobrze przygotowana udostępniona przez stronę internetową informacja dotycząca pobytu. Bardzo czysty, dobrze wyposażony i cichy apartament. Udogodnienia w obiekcie (basen, parking, zieleń). Świetna lokalizacja obiektu.

  Wir haben mit mit unseren beiden Kinder den Heiligen Abend in diesem wunderschönen Appartement verbracht. Die Inneneinrichtung war wie neu und es fehlte an nichts. Es war alles top sauber. Besonders gefiel uns die grosse Terasse, auf der wir gern die warme Wintersonne genossen haben. Auch der sichere Parkplatz direkt vor der Unterkunft war sehr praktisch.

  Gute Ausstattung, gute Lage, schöne große Terrasse/ Balkon.
  
  What could be improved: Der Duschabfluss (Sieb) sollte noch jeder Belegung gereinigt werden. Ordentliche Weingläser fehlen. am Pool wären ein paar Sonnenschirme toll und wenn dort noch ein paar Pflanz Kübel stehen wurden und die Dusche funktionieren würde wäre es perfekt.
