This 4-star spot sits tucked away from the madness of the port area, and after spending a few days there, I get why it scores an 8.5 with guests.

The thing about Saint-Tropez is that everyone expects you to be right in the thick of things, stumbling distance from Club 55 or whatever. But actually, being on Chemin des Amoureux puts you in this sweet spot where you can walk to the old town in about ten minutes – past those narrow streets where the morning light hits the pastel shutters just right – without dealing with the constant buzz of scooters and tourists taking selfies outside your window. The flat itself lives up to that “cosy” promise, though I’d say it’s more like… comfortable-cosy rather than cramped-cosy, if that makes sense. The kind of place where you actually want to hang out on the balcony with your morning coffee instead of immediately rushing out to explore.

What really sold me on this place was the little details that showed someone who knows Saint-Tropez put thought into it. There’s proper blackout curtains (crucial when you’re stumbling back from La Ponche at 2 AM and need to sleep past sunrise), decent air conditioning that actually works during those brutal July afternoons, and – this might sound silly – but really good water pressure in the shower. You’d be surprised how many places in the old town have that sad European trickle situation going on. The kitchen setup is solid too, which matters because honestly, you can’t eat out for every meal in Saint-Tropez unless you’re planning to remortgage your house. I picked up fresh stuff from the morning market on Place des Lices and actually enjoyed cooking there, something I rarely say about vacation rentals. Parking can be a bit of an adventure – well, it’s Saint-Tropez, so parking anywhere is an adventure – but there’s usually something workable nearby if you’re patient. The only real downside I noticed was that the Wi-Fi gets a bit spotty in the evenings when everyone’s streaming, but honestly, if you’re in Saint-Tropez staring at your laptop, you’re doing it wrong anyway.

  It is a spacious renovated appartment in a fantastic location, perfect for groups and family stay. Very clean, modern and cosy with the garage box that was a nice supplement to all other benefits this place provides. The host was very welcoming and approachable st all times. Easy checkin and checkout. We would definitely be happy to come back to this place.
