The thing about this spot is that it sits right in that sweet zone where you’re actually in Saint-Tropez proper – not stuck out in some resort bubble – but you’re also not drowning in the absolute chaos of the port area. Avenue General Leclerc is one of those streets that locals actually use to get around, which sounds boring but honestly means you’ll stumble across that perfect little boulangerie in the morning instead of tourist trap cafés charging €8 for coffee. The residence itself has this sort of understated charm that grows on you. It’s not trying to be fancy, and the rooms are pretty straightforward, but everything works and it’s genuinely clean. The kind of place where you can dump your beach gear without worrying about sand on marble floors, if you know what I mean.

What really won me over was how the staff seemed to actually know the area – like, really know it. When I asked about parking (because let’s face it, parking in Saint-Tropez is basically a blood sport), they didn’t just hand me a generic map. They told me about the specific times when certain streets clear out, which beaches have the secret access paths, and where to grab groceries that won’t cost you a mortgage payment. That kind of local insight you just can’t fake. The building itself sits in this residential pocket where you’ll hear actual French conversations drifting from windows instead of just tourist chatter, and honestly, that made mornings feel pretty special.   The apartment was small but had everything we needed. The host was amazing, she responded really fast and came down to help us if there ever was any issues! She really did everything and more, she was so kind and helpful! We will definitely come back to this apartment if we are coming back.
