Look, I’ve stayed at a lot of places in Saint-Tropez over the years, and honestly? Most of them are either ridiculously overpriced tourist traps or they’re so far from everything you need a car just to grab coffee. Maison Provence hits this sweet spot that’s actually pretty rare – it’s tucked away on Boulevard de Provence, which means you’re close enough to walk to the port (maybe 8-10 minutes if you don’t get distracted by the shops), but you’re not dealing with the absolute chaos of Place des Lices during peak season.

The thing that struck me first wasn’t the lobby or anything fancy like that – it was how quiet it gets at night. I mean, you’re still in Saint-Tropez, so there’s some nightlife noise, but Boulevard de Provence doesn’t get the parade of Lamborghinis revving their engines at 2 AM like you’d deal with closer to the clubs. The rooms have this sort of understated Provençal thing going on without being too theme-park about it, you know? Real wood shutters that actually work, decent air conditioning (trust me, this matters in July), and bathrooms that don’t make you feel like you’re playing Tetris every time you turn around. The staff genuinely seems to know the area – when I asked about parking, the front desk guy didn’t just point me to the nearest garage, he actually warned me that the municipal lot near the market gets absolutely slammed on Tuesday and Saturday mornings, and suggested I move my car before 8 AM or just walk those days.

What really won me over though was the breakfast situation. They set it up in this little courtyard area, and while it’s not some elaborate buffet, everything tastes like it came from actual local suppliers rather than the same industrial pastries you get everywhere else. The coffee’s strong enough to wake the dead, and they have proper butter – I know that sounds ridiculous, but you’d be amazed how many places cheap out on the basics. You’ll probably end up chatting with other guests here because the space naturally encourages it, and I actually got some great restaurant recommendations from a couple who’d been coming to Saint-Tropez for fifteen years. The whole place has this relaxed vibe that’s pretty refreshing when everything else in town feels like it’s trying so hard to be glamorous. Is it perfect? Well, the WiFi can be spotty in some rooms, and if you need a gym or pool, you’ll have to look elsewhere. But honestly, for the location and the price point, Maison Provence delivers exactly what most people actually want from a Saint-Tropez stay – a comfortable base that doesn’t drain your bank account, with staff who treat you like a person rather than a walking credit card.

  Our stay was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond – incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful. They made us feel welcome every single day.
  
  The breakfast was absolutely outstanding – fresh, varied, and delicious. The pool was an absolute dream – perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun. The location couldn’t be better; everything you need is within easy reach.
  
  Our room was spotless and felt brand new. The Smart TV was a great bonus, perfect for winding down in the evening. Everyone we encountered, from reception to housekeeping, was warm and friendly – it really makes a difference.
  
  Honestly, this place deserves 5 stars without a doubt. I’ll definitely be coming back!

  Properties is very stylish and very well designed and decorated. When we arrived, it only been open two days so there were several things that weren’t quite finished including some of the landscaping but the staff was so nice. The property is beautiful. We will definitely come back.
  
  What could be improved: They don’t do food during the day if you’re around the pool. Something I think they should consider they only serve breakfast. You can get drinks all day.

  What could be improved: The same person that did the check in said that she is the only person that works there , she serves breakfast, cleaning….. which shocked us .
  There was no bell boy to carry the luggage. The garbage was at the entrance of hotel . The pool was dirty, no maintenance of garden . The place is 1 month old and so dirty and run down.
