Honestly, when I first walked up to this place on Boulevard Louis Blanc, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star apartment rental. But you know what? Sometimes the best finds are the ones that surprise you. This two-bedroom spot sits right in the thick of Saint-Tropez – and I mean really in it, not some “heart of the city” marketing nonsense where you’re actually twenty minutes from anything interesting.
You’re literally a three-minute walk from Place des Lices, where that famous market happens twice a week (Tuesdays and Saturdays, if you’re planning). The apartment itself feels more spacious than most hotel rooms you’d get for the same price, especially during peak summer when everything in Saint-Tropez gets ridiculously expensive. The setup works well for families or groups – I mean, six people might be pushing it unless everyone’s really comfortable with each other, but four adults fit perfectly. The kitchen actually has everything you need, which is rare in vacation rentals. I ended up cooking breakfast most mornings because, let’s be real, €25 for hotel breakfast gets old fast.
What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night, despite being so central. Sure, you’ll hear some street noise during the day – it’s Saint-Tropez in summer, not a monastery – but the windows do their job once you close them. The building itself has that typical French apartment feel, nothing fancy but solid. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare around here (welcome to Saint-Tropez), but there’s actually a public lot about a five-minute walk away that most tourists don’t know about. The host was pretty responsive too, which matters when you’re dealing with apartment rentals instead of hotels. Check-in was smooth, no waiting around in lobbies or dealing with front desk drama.
Look, this isn’t going to blow you away with luxury touches or Instagram-worthy views of the harbor. But if you want to actually stay in Saint-Tropez proper without dropping €400 a night on some boutique hotel, this makes a lot of sense. You’re close enough to walk to the old port for dinner, hit up the morning market for fresh fruit and cheese, and still have space to spread out when you come back from a day at Pampelonne Beach. The 8.1 rating feels about right – it’s good, solid, does what it promises without any major surprises either way.

The location was fantastic – right in the heart of St Tropez and only a 5 minute walk to harbour where all the main hub of restaurants are. The facilities inside the flat were perfect and it was very clean upon arrival.
What could be improved: There was a flat above us that started partying the night of our arrival (23:00) until about 05:30. The walls were paper thin and it felt as if the party was in the bedroom next to us, it was impossible to sleep. Although the host was apologetic they said that there was nothing to be done, understandably, from their end, however we should just notify the police. We spent the rest of our time there hoping and keeping our fingers crossed this didn’t happen again. We had to go out twice to ask them to be quiet. Failed on both occasions.
