It’s tucked into this quiet residential stretch that doesn’t scream “luxury,” but that’s actually part of what makes it work so well. You’re literally a two-minute stroll from Place des Lices (and I mean actually two minutes, not travel-website-two-minutes), which means you can grab your morning coffee from one of those little cafés around the square without dealing with the tourist chaos that hits the port area.

The apartment itself surprised me – it’s got that clean, modern vibe without feeling sterile, you know? The kitchen is properly equipped, not just the usual hotel mini-setup, which honestly saved me a fortune since Saint-Tropez restaurants can absolutely demolish your budget. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night, even during peak summer season. You get the occasional scooter puttering down Paul Roussel, but nothing like the late-night party noise that drifts up from the harbor district. The air conditioning actually works well too (crucial detail in July heat), and there’s decent storage space – something a lot of these short-term rentals completely botch.

Here’s what sold me on the location: you’re close enough to walk everywhere that matters, but far enough from the madness to actually relax. Place des Lices has that famous market on Tuesdays and Saturdays – absolute chaos but amazing for people-watching and grabbing fresh produce. The beach at Bouillabaisse is maybe a 15-minute walk if you cut through the old town streets, though honestly, most people just rent bikes or take the little shuttle buses. Parking can be tricky around here (welcome to Saint-Tropez), but the host actually provided some solid local tips about where to find spots that don’t cost €40 a day. I mean, you’re still going to pay tourist prices for most things, but at least you’ve got a proper base to retreat to when the Riviera glamour gets overwhelming. The whole setup just feels more authentic than staying right in the thick of things – you get to see how the town actually functions when it’s not putting on a show for visitors.

  Fabulous proximity to everything & it was nice & clean.
  
  What could be improved: Check in time was not ready, despite arrival time after designated time. Our hand over was not until early evening. There was no welcome information regarding wifi or tv operation. There were a few maintenance issues which needed attention. The bedside lamps were not working. Light fittings fallen out of ceiling, door handle missing on bathroom.
