Honestly, I walked past Le 34 twice before realizing this was actually my hotel – it sits so naturally on Rue Henri Seillon that you’d think it was just another beautiful Saint-Tropez townhouse (which, well, it sort of is). The entrance is understated in that effortlessly chic French way, and when you step inside, there’s this immediate sense that someone really thought about every detail without making it feel overdone.

What I love about this place is how it captures that Saint-Tropez vibe without the circus atmosphere you get closer to the port. You’re genuinely in a residential part of town here, which means you can actually sleep at night – no drunk tourists stumbling back from clubs at 3 AM. The walk to Place des Lices takes maybe eight minutes, and you’ll pass this little boulangerie on Rue Georges Clemenceau that does incredible pain au chocolat (trust me on this one). The rooms themselves have character – I mean real character, not that fake rustic stuff some hotels try to pull off. My bathroom had these gorgeous tiles that looked original, and the bed was one of those situations where you actually don’t want to get up in the morning.

The staff here gets it, you know? They’re not hovering or overly formal, but when I needed restaurant recommendations beyond the obvious tourist spots, they pointed me toward this gem on Rue du Portail Neuf that I never would’ve found otherwise. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this part of Saint-Tropez – there’s street parking if you’re lucky, but honestly, I’d recommend asking them about their arrangements when you book. The whole area gets pretty busy during peak season (July and August are absolutely nuts), but even then, this street stays relatively calm. What really sold me was how the place feels in the evening – there’s this lovely golden light that hits the building just right around sunset, and you can sit in their little courtyard area with a glass of rosé and actually hear yourself think. It’s Saint-Tropez, but it’s the Saint-Tropez locals would choose if they were staying somewhere for the night.
