The name is ridiculously long – JARDIN TERRASSE EDEN SAINT TROPEZ with all the parking and pool details thrown in – but honestly, it kind of tells you everything you need to know upfront. I mean, when you’re dealing with Saint-Tropez, having guaranteed parking mentioned right in the hotel name is actually genius. Trust me on this one.

The location on Avenue Général Leclerc is pretty perfect, actually. You’re far enough from the absolute chaos of the port area (where good luck sleeping in July), but close enough that you can still walk to all the action without breaking a sweat. It’s on the first floor of this building, and the terrace – which is clearly the star of the show here – gives you this lovely garden view that feels surprisingly peaceful for Saint-Tropez. The AC works properly too, which might sound obvious but you’d be surprised how many places in this part of France still think opening windows is sufficient when it’s 35°C outside.

What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to make a 4-star place feel genuinely comfortable rather than trying too hard to be fancy. The pool area is intimate – not one of those massive resort things – and during the quieter parts of the day (early morning or late afternoon), it feels like your own private escape. The whole setup accommodates four people without everyone bumping into each other, which is harder to pull off than you’d think. I actually loved that you could make coffee in the morning and sit on that terrace without having to get dressed up for some formal breakfast situation. Sometimes you just want to ease into the day, especially when you’re in vacation mode. The 9.3 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s not about flashy amenities, it’s about getting the important stuff right. The parking alone probably saves you 30 euros a day and countless headaches, because trying to find a spot in Saint-Tropez during season is basically a blood sport. Plus, being able to come back to a cool, quiet space after dealing with the crowds and heat of the town center? That’s worth its weight in gold, honestly.

  Superb, brand-new and very elegant apartment. It's a three-minute walk from the port of Saint-Tropez. There's a supermarket right across the street. The kitchen is very well equipped and the terrace is very pleasant. The bedroom and living room have a beautiful sea view. We'll be back for a longer stay and enjoy the pool in a beautiful garden. There is also a private parking space in the residence. Marie is very helpful and made us feel very welcome.

  L'appartement est superbe, dispose de tous les équipements nécessaire et se situe à 5 min du centre de St Tropez. Il dispose également d'un parking. La literie est très confortable. La terrasse est magnifique et permet de profiter des soirées. La communication avec notre hôte a été très fluide.
