You know what? The first thing that hits you about this place isn’t actually the apartment itself – it’s that you’re literally steps from Saint-Tropez’s old port, and I mean the *real* working harbor, not just the glitzy yacht marina everyone posts on Instagram. The address on avenue du 11 novembre puts you right in that sweet spot where locals actually live and work, which honestly makes all the difference when you’re trying to experience Saint-Tropez beyond the tourist bubble.

The apartment itself is pretty solid for what you’re paying – it’s got that lived-in French charm without being fancy about it. I mean, don’t expect marble countertops or anything, but the place feels authentic in a way that those cookie-cutter hotel rooms never do. The windows actually open (shocking, I know), and you can hear the real sounds of the port in the morning – fishing boats heading out, vendors setting up at the market, that sort of thing. It’s way more interesting than air conditioning white noise, though I’ll admit it might not be for everyone if you’re a light sleeper. The 7.4 rating makes sense to me – it’s not luxury, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any weird surprises.

What I really love about staying here is how it puts you in the middle of actual Saint-Tropez life. You’re a quick walk to Place des Lices for the Tuesday and Saturday markets (get there early for the good stuff), and honestly, being on this side of town means you can duck back to the apartment when the afternoon crowds get insane around the Vieux Port. The whole Ponche quarter is right there too – those narrow medieval streets that most day-trippers never find because they’re too busy fighting for selfie spots at the harbor. Plus, and this is key if you’re driving, parking isn’t the absolute nightmare it is closer to the main tourist drag. Still not easy, mind you, but at least possible. I’d probably stay here again, especially in shoulder season when you can actually enjoy Saint-Tropez without feeling like you’re being swept along in a human tide.

  What could be improved: Only one apartment key and no building entry fob to share between 4 guests who all planned to do separate things. It took 2-hours to arrange a single entry fob and then it was not for the main entrance, but did access the correct building.
  WiFi did not work, hence no TV.
  Lack of keys caused a big problem for the 4 guests and the slow responses from the proprietor wasted many hours of the day.

  What could be improved: Wysłałam prośbę o wcześniejsze zameldowanie od 14, bez odpowiedzi. Postanowiliśmy więc być na czas-15. Z uwagi na brak miejsc parkingowych – długo zajęło nam znalezienie miejsca, więc w mieszkaniu byliśmy o 15:45. Okazało się że są tam panie sprzątające i nie możemy jeszcze wejść do mieszkania min 30 minut.
  
  Netflix nie działał. Nie dało się połączyć Wszystko posprzątane ale po wierzchownie, miejsca typu uszczelki lodówki wręcz czarna, a przecież dla „porządnego sprzątania” kazali nam tyle dłużej czekać.
