You know what surprised me most about Les Cottages des Mûriers? It actually feels like staying in someone’s well-appointed family home rather than a typical Saint-Tropez rental – and I mean that in the best possible way. Tucked away from the circus that the town center becomes during peak season, this Interhome property sits in one of those quietly residential pockets where you’ll hear cicadas instead of Lamborghinis revving. The cottages themselves have this unpretentious charm that’s honestly refreshing after seeing so many over-the-top places along the coast. My unit had these lovely shutters that I’d open each morning to let in that particular Mediterranean light that photographers are always chasing, and the kitchen was actually functional – not just pretty to look at. I cooked dinner a few times because, well, eating out in Saint-Tropez every night will bankrupt you, and having a proper stove and decent counter space made all the difference.

The location is what really sold me on this place, though. You’re maybe a ten-minute walk from Place des Lices (where the market happens twice a week – go early on Tuesday or Saturday before the tourists swarm), but far enough removed that you won’t deal with the party crowd stumbling past your window at 3 AM. I’d walk down through the old town most evenings, maybe grab a drink at Café de Paris if I was feeling flush, then retreat back to the cottage for some actual peace and quiet. The pool area gets decent sun most of the day, and there’s something satisfying about floating there while you can just barely hear the buzz of town life in the distance. Parking can be a bit tight – it’s France, so the spaces are typically compact – but at least you have a designated spot, which is more than you can say for most places in Saint-Tropez proper.

What really impressed me was how well-maintained everything felt. The 9.3 rating makes sense when you experience the attention to detail – fresh linens that actually smell good, reliable Wi-Fi (crucial when you’re trying to work remotely), and little touches like having decent coffee in the welcome package. I mean, it’s not groundbreaking stuff, but it shows someone’s paying attention. The air conditioning worked properly too, which you’ll appreciate if you’re visiting during those sweltering July and August weeks when the mistral isn’t blowing. Honestly, this felt like one of those places where you could settle in for a proper stay rather than just crash between beach days. If you’re looking for that Saint-Tropez experience without the Saint-Tropez attitude – and price tag, to some extent – this hits that sweet spot perfectly.

  Very private home with a small garden, just across the street from the beach. The home has everything you need for a stay with four adults. It is a 20-minute walk to get into St Tropez for dinner.

  Schönes Cottage mit guter Ausstattung. Das Haus steht etwas zurückgesetzt in einer kleinen Ferienhaussiedlung, was wir aufgrund der allgemeinen Verkehrsbelastung in Saint-Tropez als sehr angenehm empfunden haben. Ein überdachter Stellplatz steht für ein Fahrzeug zur Verfügung. Die Siedlung verfügt über einen Gemeinschaftspool, den wir aber nicht genutzt haben.
  Bis in die Innenstadt von Saint-Tropez sind es nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß.
  Die Strände, wie der Tahiti Beach, sind innerhalb von 10-15 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar.

  Hübsches kleines Haus mit sehr guter Ausstattung und Top-Lage! Sehr ruhig, überdachter Parkplatz, in die Stadt 15 Min. zu Fuß, auch an den Pampelonne-Strand nicht weit und aufgrund der guten Lage entgeht man dem Stau, der gewöhnlich um St. Tropez herrscht. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter des Verwalters. Haus innen sehr sauber, was den Aussenbereich angeht, war noch nicht viel gemacht, Polster für Liegen könnten erneuert werden.

  Sehr schönes geschmackvolles sauberes eingerichtetes Haus in toller Lage. Vom Pearlbeach nur knapp 100 m entfernt. Supermarkt 900m und nach St. Tropez Innerorts zu Fuß 2 km oder mit dem Auto auch möglich. Klimaanlage vorhanden.Haben für nächsten Sommer direkt wieder gebucht.
