You know what struck me first about this place? The address says Avenue Foch, but honestly, once you’re settled in, you feel like you’ve discovered this perfectly tucked-away corner of Saint-Tropez that most tourists never find. I mean, everyone talks about being “near Place des Lices,” but this apartment actually delivers on that promise – you can literally walk to the famous market in about three minutes, maybe four if you stop to pet the neighbor’s ridiculously photogenic French bulldog.

The apartment itself has that effortless French charm that you can’t fake. We’re talking about authentic Provençal details mixed with just enough modern touches that you don’t feel like you’re staying in a museum. The morning light filters through these gorgeous shutters (they actually work, unlike some places I’ve stayed), and there’s something about sipping coffee while you can hear the distant chatter from the weekly market that just feels… right. The kitchen is surprisingly well-equipped too – I ended up cooking way more than I planned because, well, the local produce from Place des Lices is basically calling your name. Fair warning though: if you’re here during peak summer season, the area gets pretty lively. Not crazy loud, but you’ll definitely hear people wandering back from dinner around midnight.

What really sets this spot apart is how it connects you to the real Saint-Tropez rhythm. You’re close enough to walk to the old port when you want that classic glamorous scene, but far enough from the main tourist drag that you actually get to see locals doing their thing. The street itself is surprisingly quiet for being so central – mostly residential with a few small shops that locals actually use. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle (this is Saint-Tropez, after all), but the host gives you solid advice about where to find spots. I’d say the 8.5 rating feels about right – it’s genuinely lovely and the location is fantastic, though the bathroom could use a small refresh and the WiFi gets a bit spotty in the late afternoon when everyone’s online. But honestly? When you’re this close to some of the best people-watching in the French Riviera, you might not mind disconnecting for a bit.

  It was perfect! The location was so close to St Tropez centre, it took less than 5 mins to walk to the port. The owners were so friendly and accommodating. Apartment was a nice size, we all fitted in comfortably (there were 4 of us) super clean.
