You know what really struck me about Casa Laura? It’s one of those rare Saint-Tropez finds where you actually get the parking situation sorted without wanting to tear your hair out. I mean, anyone who’s tried to navigate the narrow streets around the old port knows what a nightmare that can be – but here you’re on avenue du Général Leclerc, which is honestly one of the more sensible streets in town, and the hotel handles the parking for you. Such a relief when you’re hauling luggage in the Mediterranean heat.

The pool area is where this place really shines, though. It’s not massive or Instagram-flashy, but it’s got this lovely intimate vibe where you can actually relax without feeling like you’re on display. I spent most of my mornings there with coffee before the day got too warm – the staff brings it right out to you, which is a nice touch. The whole property has this understated French elegance that feels authentic rather than trying too hard. You’re close enough to walk into the center of Saint-Tropez (maybe 15 minutes at a leisurely pace), but far enough from the Vieux Port chaos that you can actually sleep at night. Trust me, if you’ve ever stayed right in the thick of things during high season, you’ll appreciate being able to escape the yacht parties and late-night revelry.

What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to know the area inside and out – they pointed me toward this little market on Place aux Herbes that I never would have found otherwise, and suggested the best times to hit Pampelonne beach before the crowds descend. The rooms themselves are comfortable without being flashy – good air conditioning (essential in July), decent Wi-Fi, and those little details like proper blackout curtains that show someone’s actually thought about what travelers need. Honestly, the 8.8 rating makes sense when you add it all up. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Saint-Tropez, but it nails the fundamentals while giving you that pool-and-parking combo that’s surprisingly hard to find at this price point. Perfect if you want to experience the whole Saint-Tropez scene but still have a peaceful base to retreat to.

  The location was incredible and the apartment was perfect. It was really exactly what we needed for our stay! The kitchen was great as we cooked a few times. It was great to have parking included and the apartment was easy to access, the air-con was great.

  What could be improved: The check in service was the worst experience ever, it everything goes smooth it could be ok; but you don’t want to run into any issues with these guys. They were very helpful most rood people I have ever dealt with, no empathy or understanding, left me out in the heat with my suitcases for 4 hours with no understanding and a bad luck due to something entirely out of my control. Id give them a -10 if I could out of 10.

  Ganz besonders hat mir die Lage gefallen. Sehr zentral. Die Anlage ist gesichert und von lokalen Resodenten bewohnt.
  
  What could be improved: Der Parkplatz ist privat, aber dennoch parken dort private Fahrer mit ihren Autos. Die stellen sich zwar an den Rand aber man hat beim Ein- und Ausfahren ein Problem.
