The apartment itself is tucked away just far enough from the madness of the port that you’re not dealing with drunk tourists stumbling past your windows at 3 AM, but close enough that you can walk to Place des Lices in maybe ten minutes (fifteen if you stop for pastries at that little boulangerie on Rue Georges Clemenceau – and trust me, you will). The two levels thing works brilliantly, actually. Downstairs you’ve got your living area and kitchen, which is properly equipped by the way, not just some sad hot plate situation. Upstairs feels completely separate, so if you’re traveling with friends or family, everyone gets their space. The terrace though – that’s where you’ll spend most of your time. It’s not huge, but it catches the morning sun perfectly, and honestly, there’s something magical about watching the light change over those red tile roofs.

I mean, it’s Saint-Tropez, so nothing’s exactly budget-friendly, but this place feels like decent value when you consider you’re getting actual living space instead of a cramped hotel room. The 8.5 rating makes sense – everything works, it’s clean, and the owner clearly cares about the details. My only real complaint? Parking can be a bit of a nightmare during peak season (we’re talking July-August here), though that’s pretty much true anywhere in Saint-Tropez. The apartment doesn’t come with a guaranteed spot, so plan accordingly. Also, if you’re expecting hotel-style service, this obviously isn’t that – but part of the charm is feeling like you actually live there for a few days. You’ll find yourself shopping at the local market, figuring out which café makes the best café au lait, maybe even nodding hello to the same neighbors each morning. It’s that kind of place that makes you understand why people fall in love with this corner of the Côte d’Azur, even when it’s packed with tourists and overpriced rosé.
