You know what struck me first about Appartement Saint Tropez? It’s actually tucked away on Avenue du Général Leclerc in a way that feels both central and surprisingly quiet – which, honestly, is pretty rare for Saint-Tropez. I mean, you’re literally a few minutes’ walk from all the madness of the old port, but when you’re sitting on your little balcony in the evening, you’re not getting blasted by club music or crowds stumbling back from VIP Beach.

The Résidence Saint Antoine building itself has that classic French Riviera thing going on – white walls, blue shutters, you get the picture – but what I really appreciated was how well-maintained everything felt. The apartment I stayed in was spacious enough that I wasn’t tripping over my suitcase every five minutes (anyone who’s done the typical Saint-Tropez hotel shuffle knows what I mean), and the kitchen was actually functional. Like, you could make real coffee in the morning instead of hunting down an overpriced café before 10 AM. The whole setup reminded me why apartments often beat hotels when you’re staying somewhere for more than just a quick weekend – there’s something about having your own space that makes a place feel less touristy, more livable.

What really won me over, though, was the location’s sweet spot factor. You can walk to Place des Lices for the Tuesday and Saturday markets without breaking a sweat, and if you want to hit Pampelonne Beach, it’s a reasonable drive or bike ride – not like some places where you’re stuck taking expensive shuttles everywhere. The neighborhood has this residential vibe during the day with actual French people doing normal French people things, which I found oddly comforting after dealing with the circus downtown. Plus, parking isn’t completely impossible around here (though I wouldn’t call it easy either – it’s still Saint-Tropez, after all). The building’s setup means you’re dealing with proper apartment living rather than hotel lobby chaos, so check-in was refreshingly straightforward. Honestly, with that 8.8 rating, I was expecting maybe some corners cut somewhere, but the place genuinely delivers on being a solid, comfortable base for exploring Saint-Tropez without the premium you’d pay for being right in the thick of things. It’s the kind of spot where you can actually imagine living like a local for a week, instead of just surviving as a tourist.

    The apartment was clean, spacious and perfect for our group of 5. The hostess was polite and friendly, and provided us with information on everything we asked for. It is close to the Center in a very convenient location, and has a parking space available. 10/10!!!

    We thought the apartment was fabulous and part of a garden courtyard complex right next to the village center. Location is 5 minute walk to waterfront with cafes , restaurants and shops and right adjacent to the village shopping. . We had parking that was right next to the unit. The unit design and furnishings are very well done- tasteful, contemporary and fashionable. Host was very nice , she was always on time, gave us dinner recommendations, and accommodated our schedule.

    Spacious, luxurious apartment in a private courtyard. Very suitable for families. Excellent location, right across from the "gendarmerie". There is a supermarket 2, 3 minutes walk away. The host was very responsive and kind. A private parking space was provided for us right next to the apartment.

    Excellent location, right in the centre of St Tropez, next to the port, the Chanel maison, the Hotel de Paris and the Monoprix supermarket. 5 mins walk to Place des Lices. Charming and helpful host. The apartment was perfect for me, my husband and our 3 daughters for a 3 night stay to experience being in the centre of St Tropez.
    Potential renters should note that there is no outside space or balcony at the apartment itself, and the windows look onto a road, so you will decide to keep the net curtains closed. I knew this beforehand and it did not bother us as we were happy to spend most of our time in town. I will say again that the location is excellent. And it was extremely useful to have parking as well.
