Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the address on Chemin des Amoureux, I thought it might be a bit too cutesy (Lovers’ Lane, really?), but this three-bedroom apartment actually lives up to the romantic name without being cheesy about it. The location is sort of perfect if you want to be in Saint-Tropez but not right in the madness of the port area. You’re tucked away enough that you won’t hear drunk tourists stumbling back from Club 55 at 3 AM, but you can still walk to Place des Lices in about ten minutes – which, honestly, is where the real Saint-Tropez happens anyway.

The apartment itself has this effortless French chic thing going on that doesn’t feel forced. I mean, the furniture actually looks like someone lives there, not like it was ordered from a hotel catalog. The kitchen is properly equipped too – and I say this as someone who’s been burned by vacation rentals that consider a single dull knife “fully equipped.” You’ll find decent pans, a coffee machine that works, and enough space to spread out if you’re the type who hits the morning market and wants to cook with all those gorgeous tomatoes and herbs. The three bedrooms are thoughtfully laid out, so you’re not hearing every conversation through paper-thin walls, and honestly, the master bedroom has this view toward the hills that makes you understand why people pay Saint-Tropez prices.

What really got me was the attention to small details – there’s actually good water pressure in the showers (you’d be surprised how rare this is in older French buildings), and the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every time someone uses the microwave. The owner clearly knows what travelers actually need versus what looks good in photos. Parking can be a bit of a dance in this area – Saint-Tropez wasn’t exactly built for cars – but there’s usually something available on the street if you’re not arriving during the peak summer circus. Speaking of which, if you’re coming in July or August, just embrace the chaos because the whole town transforms into this beautiful, expensive zoo. But honestly? That’s part of the charm. You’re paying for the full Saint-Tropez experience here, and this place gives you a genuine home base to enjoy it from, rather than feeling like you’re camping out in someone else’s idea of French style.

  What could be improved: 建物まで行くのに階段が多くて、荷物を運ぶのが少し大変でしたが、それ以外は申し分なく、充実して過ごせました。
