Hotel Description
Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Saint-Tropez over the years, and honestly? Most of them are either ridiculously overpriced tourist traps or they’re so far from everything you need a car just to grab coffee. But this little apartment on Rue Joseph Quaranta – well, it’s sort of tucked away in this quiet residential pocket that feels completely separate from the circus down at the port, yet you can actually walk to everything that matters. I mean, you’re maybe eight minutes from Place des Lices where the morning market happens (and trust me, you want to hit that market – the tomatoes alone are worth getting up early for). The street itself is one of those narrow, tree-lined ones where you’ll hear more French being spoken than English, which honestly makes you feel like you’ve found something authentic rather than just another rental property.
What really got me about this place was how it manages to feel both spacious and cozy at the same time – you know what I mean? The apartment itself has these gorgeous high ceilings and windows that actually open wide (not those tiny European ones that barely crack), so there’s this lovely cross-breeze in the evenings when things cool down. The 9.9 rating makes sense once you’re there because it’s clear someone actually thought about how people live, not just how a place photographs. The kitchen has proper counter space – I know that sounds boring, but try making breakfast in most vacation rentals and you’ll appreciate having room to set down your coffee cup. And the bed? Actually comfortable, not just pretty. The bathroom has one of those rainfall showers that doesn’t make you feel like you’re being misted by a houseplant.
Here’s the thing though – and this is probably my favorite detail – you’re close enough to walk down to the old town and the harbor when you want that whole Saint-Tropez scene (the evening aperitif hour around 7 PM is pretty magical down there), but when you come back up to Rue Joseph Quaranta, it’s quiet. Like, properly quiet. No drunk tourists stumbling around at 2 AM, no scooters revving outside your window at dawn. I actually slept with the windows open most nights, just listening to the sound of the wind through the plane trees. Parking was surprisingly manageable too – there’s street parking that locals know about, and the host gave really specific instructions about where to find spots. During August it gets trickier, obviously, but in shoulder season you’re fine. The whole experience felt less like staying in a rental and more like borrowing a friend’s place – someone who happens to have excellent taste and knows exactly what makes a stay memorable versus just acceptable.
Many travelers prefer to book apartments in Saint-Tropez through local agencies that offer personalized recommendations and insider knowledge about the best neighborhoods for exploring the city’s rich maritime heritage.

The property is amazing and the hosts are great. We spend 6 days with a group of friends and it was a lovely stay. The apartment is in a great location, with a lot of amenities ( good wifi, bluetooth speakers , a great terrace ) and very clean which is always a 10/10. We will probably be back next time! Highly recommend staying here.
