Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of places around Saint-Tropez, and honestly, most of them are either overpriced tourist traps or way too far from anything interesting. But this Apartment Lou Niou? It’s actually one of those finds that makes you want to keep it secret from everyone else. The location alone – I mean, you’re right in the 83990 area, which puts you close enough to the old town that you can walk to Place des Lices for the Tuesday and Saturday markets (and trust me, you want to hit that market early before the crowds descend). The apartment itself has this lived-in feel that’s way better than some sterile hotel room. You know what I noticed first? The windows actually open properly, and there’s this cross-breeze that happens in the evenings that honestly beats any air conditioning.
The whole setup feels like you’re borrowing a friend’s place rather than checking into some corporate chain. The kitchen’s actually functional – not just some tiny corner with a mini-fridge, but space where you can properly make coffee in the morning or throw together lunch with stuff from the market. Which is smart, because eating out for every meal in Saint-Tropez will drain your bank account faster than you think. The bathroom’s got decent water pressure (always a gamble in older French buildings), and the bed’s comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up with that hotel-back thing going on. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this area – it’s not like there’s some massive hotel lot – but that’s pretty much par for the course anywhere near the center of Saint-Tropez. The trade-off is totally worth it though, because you’re walking distance from the harbor without being right in the middle of all that yacht-spotting chaos.
What really sold me on this place is how it sits in that sweet spot between authentic and comfortable. You’re not dealing with paper-thin walls where you hear every conversation from the next room, and the neighborhood actually goes quiet at night instead of staying party-central until dawn. During the day, you’ve got easy access to both the beach scene and the more low-key streets where locals actually shop and eat. The whole Interhome setup was pretty straightforward too – none of that complicated check-in dance where you’re standing around for an hour with your luggage. I’d definitely book this again, especially during shoulder season when Saint-Tropez gets back some of its charm instead of feeling like a theme park. Just don’t expect a concierge or daily housekeeping – this is more about having your own little base camp in one of the most expensive corners of the Côte d’Azur without paying resort prices.

Casa molto carina ben arredata,nuova, pulita e con una bella vista, in 10 minuti si arriva in centro a piedi e in 5 min in spiaggia. Accoglienza dello staff ben organizzata ci hanno lasciato tutte le informazioni in una casetta vicino l’agenzia perché siamo arrivati la sera tardi.
